released its Graduation Success Rate report today, and Bucknell is 𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 with a 99% GSR!
🔶23/27 programs have 100% GSR
🔷All 14 women's programs have 100% GSR

Great team leaders are special to a team’s culture. Many say they want to be a leader, few are willing to do what it takes.
Leaders need to speak up when teammates:
Get unfocused
Are selfish/disrespectful
Blame others
Lose morale
Get lazy
Take shortcuts
Make bad choices
Leave locker room messy
Need a buffer between another player & coach
Stir up conflict/drama
Continue talking while coach is talking

There is no ‘secret sauce’ It’s simple, but not easy.
The game of baseball at the highest levels is more "basic" than most realize.
But doing "basic" well enough to play at the highest levels, is harder than most can even begin to realize.
Pursuit of perfection of the "basic" fundamentals is what player development is all about.

Back home after 3 long weeks…VA, PA, MD, TX, NJ. Camps, tournaments, weather, allergies, good food, hotel living, a Huge Commit, and lots of great people to be thankful for!
