1. In British healthcare, a person called a "Consultant" should ONLY be a doctor on the GMC Specialist Register and/or hospital appointed. It would bring less confusion to patients and patient care. 2. Non-doctor "Consultants" cannot supervise residents doctors.

Asides from this account existing to troll,I’d agree that Adv N/C/P practitioners are specialists. In aspects of their base profession. Be that nursing,physiotherapy. But they aren’t specialists in medicine. The study of which is required to practise medicine and work as a GP.
