Another way could to make the UK's energy cheaper by relaxing net zero targets, but I can't see that being welcomed by Labour-supporting parts of the media or think tanks. The UK government is stuck in a corner with only bad options available. Which will it choose?.

How can the UK Government restore confidence from "the markets"?. An obvious way would be welfare reform & restraint, but that is the very path MPs rejected a few weeks ago and is an anathema to the overwhelming majority of Labour Party supporters. Very interesting times ahead.
