Running is practical, aesthetic and spiritual all at once. Few other ways of moving offer such diversity of use and utility. Itās this notion that informs the things we fight for, the people we spend time with, and the products we make.

Runners- my husband (who is an Olympian) thinks this is weird. Ever since HS (so for 30+ years now), if I put my shoe on for run and it has a pebble or rock in it- I leave it. I like to see if I can push the annoyance out of my mind. Afterwards I dump it out. Anyone else do this?

If you look south from the High Line at 17th Street, you can capture a photo that includes both Paola Pivi's "You know who I am" (a large scale bronze replica of the Statue of Liberty wearing various cartoonish masks) and the actual Statue of Liberty. š·: IG user lattegoy

Originally created in the ancient Egyptian city of Heliopolis over 3,500 years ago, the obelisk in Central Park has a story that includes Cecil B. DeMille, the complete works of Shakespeare, time capsules never to be unearthed, and its own NY cocktail. https://t.co/KpfqQ4hkbk

It's the oldest outdoor monument in New York, and it holds time capsules that the Central Park Conservancy has no plans of unearthing.
