On this day 21 years ago, then-Mayor Giuliani signed papers to initiate the demolition of the High Line. We are forever grateful for community members like you who fiercely rallied around founders' vision then, and continue to support our beloved park in the sky today.
We’re happy to announce that the High Line will reopen on July 16. Our team has worked closely with our partners at

We don't know about you, but we're definitely ready for spring—and so are the snowdrops on the High Line! Unaffected by freezing temperatures and snow, the common snowdrop is one of the first signs of spring.

It's the first day of winter ❄️
With fewer visitors braving the cold and many of our colorful plants in dormancy, winter brings a renewed stillness on the park. We hope to see you this season.

Today, our friends and partners gathered together to celebrate the opening of the High Line – Moynihan Connector. This is our gift to NYC—and a massive step forward in connecting our communities, improving accessibility for all, and creating a more livable, vibrant West Side.
Great news! The entire High Line—with the exception of the stair at 30th Street & 11th Avenue—is now open. Come out and enjoy the beautiful winter landscape.
A huge thank you to our operations team for their hard work to make this possible.

We’re more than just a park. We connect New Yorkers from A to B, to contemporary art, to native plants, and most importantly, to each other.
This Giving Tuesday, your gift will go 3x as far for the High Line:

In these trying times for our city and world, we remember a time when our community came together in strength and hope: the opening of Section 1 of the High Line, 11 years ago today. We recommit ourselves to our community and city, and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
We love how the High Line looks with fresh
