I know I'm mostly preaching to the choir here, those who appreciate hearing what they feel articulated.
And that most who cheered the unconstitutional and defended the indefensible probably have this account muted by now.
It feels good to point these things out, and I'll…
@RepThomasMassie
I was 100 percent for single payer until I saw the government's covid response too. Now it's a deal breaker, and decentralizing power in every aspect of public life is the only priority.
People talk about wearing masks outside to make others feel comfortable, but I'll be honest, when I see that -- and it's the majority here -- I feel uncomfortable, like I'm surrounded by compliant people who would follow orders to burn me at the stake as a matter of civic duty.
home schooling your kid is a pain in the ass, but crazy how much more advanced she is in everything after a month. I actually like the school she goes to, but the more I think about it, it's primarily kid storage, not education.

Mandates were unethical from the drop. If you are arguing they are only unethical after it was known they didn't stop the spread, you are causing harm. Even if they worked exactly as advertised, it is unethical to coerce people to take medicine against their will.
1. Greenlight the shots. 2. Deplatform/demonize anyone who questioned their safety and/or efficacy. 3. Mandate the shots. 4. Find out whether they are killing people!
@elonmusk
do me a favor and unlock my dog's account
@theskeezley
already. Oscar really was born in 2020, and when I tried to change to his real birthday two weeks ago,
@twitter
locked the account because it said he was underage. He's a dog, so he's actually of age in dog years.
So on the one hand they might feel like they're doing the kind thing -- even if there's no scientific basis -- but be aware it does not register as kindness to everyone. Seeing people follow arbitrary orders for appearance-sake creeps the hell out of me.
The reason Trudeau is hiding rather than leading is he's on the wrong side of history. If he had the goods, he could stand his ground. But he's lying on behalf of drug companies and globalist oligarchs, selling out his own people, and they know it. Hiding is his only move.
No matter how safe/effective mRNA shot is, mandating it is morally wrong. Persuasion is the only legitimate method to encourage greater uptake. Coercion is a mark of failed leadership & unfree society. Do not blame the regular person for catastrophic failures of the ruling class.
@ZubyMusic
I lived in LA for 20 years, and I was there for 6 weeks this summer. You are 100% correct. Downtown LA, every overpass, Venice beach, Santa Monica -- it's everywhere. It's a massive problem,
The problem isn't that you fell for scams like the Hunter Biden laptop story is "Russian disinformation" or "you won't get covid if you take this vaccine" or "the lab leak is a conspiracy theory." The problem is you still believe the same people who scammed you.
What's obvious if you don't subscribe to the new religion:
1. Covid came from a lab
2. mRNA shot does not stop the spread
3. Young, healthy people don't need it
4. It has had serious side effects for thousands
5. Mandates were a crime vs humanity
6. Govts/media are complicit
Anyone aware of peer-to-peer sports betting sites/apps that function the way stock-trading websites function, e.g., I offer Seahawks plus 2 for $100, deposit my $, and someone on the other side takes part or all of it for a very small rake to the match-maker?
The pandemic can be over tomorrow. Stop showing your passes to eat at restaurants or attend events. In one week, they would drop them. How are people so short-sighted? The more you comply the more rules will spring up to meet the demand. Non-compliance is the exit strategy.

If you concede medicine can be mandated, provided it works, you will have more disasters like we had the last two years when powerful interests claim their products work, and regulators, govt and doctors march in lockstep whether or not the claim is true.
Remember when the "science" told you eggs and butter would give you heart attacks? That you should use canola oil and margarine? Now we know that was a lie -- that it was never science but marketing. What else is being pitched to you as "science" but is actually marketing?
Take any meds you want, but how credulous do you have to be to think, "If we just take this booster, if we wear this mask, if we lockdown, things will go back to normal." The thing that's not normal isn't the existence of an endemic respiratory virus, it's your servile obedience.

The Giants were correct to draft Saquon Barkley. The mistake they made was not cutting Eli and signing or trading for a veteran QB. Barkley is already the best back in the league, but you can't play with a bottom-3 QB.
Get used to this. The Substacks I read over the last two years were far more informative and accurate than the agenda-driven pseudo-science my friends and family were getting from legacy media outlets.
I'm a one-issue voter now, and this is the issue. I have never voted for a Republican in my life, but pushing back against totalitarian control supersedes second order policy disagreements and debates.
If you want things to get back to normal, you can just stop testing if you're not sick & delete your vax-pass. In 1 month (2 tops) everything would be normal. But if you keep complying, there will just be more bullshit w/ which to comply & it will make decreasing amounts of sense
Weird how no one in my feed or mentions is giving me unsolicited medical advice anymore. It was like having a personal health coach/Pfizer rep in my own home for a few months. Did they all move on to the unpaid Raytheon internship?
Today is
#NationalBestFriendsDay
! I am so lucky to be surrounded by such supportive and caring friends. It is those relationships that have sustained me throughout my life. 1/2
@RepThomasMassie
This is off base. As long as you're scanning your QR code to go to the grocery store, authoritarianism is achieved, and the demands (some of which will be harder to fake) will never end.
How the fuck did so many people turn into a bunch of ruthless, prying busybodies at the behest of large pharmaceutical companies? They're not even paying you!
People sometimes ask, "Why are you still going on about this? Covid is over, the restrictions are removed, you're not being coerced anymore to travel or go to a restaurant."
Are those who violated my rights still in power? Yes.
Are those who went along with it, those who tried…
If you don't want athletes explaining why they didn't take the shot, don't coerce them to do so, and they won't need/care to talk about it. But if you shame/penalize them, be prepared to hear their rationale.
NFL teams are like the annoying owner in your league that uses the whole clock for every pick. If you know who you want, just fucking pick. It's not like taking 15 minutes ever stopped someone from drafting Blaine Gabbert anyway
I know my dog is handsome, but a woman at the park (who had a long-haired dachshund herself) picked Oscar up and nearly in tears told me a dog this beautiful proved the existence of God. Not joking. Maybe that sounds boastful, but I'm not his biological father.

that said something profound -- more or less one purpose of propaganda is to convince critical thinkers they're alone. That something is inevitable is just that from another angle - "you're gonna lose eventually" is another propaganda tactic
2024 Common Knowledge:
1. Covid came from a lab
2. the mRNA shot was not a vaccine and has killed at least hundreds of thousands worldwide, injured millions
3. Joe Biden has dementia
4. The notion that unarmed protesters staged an insurrection on January 6, 2021 is preposterous…
Create a virus, denigrate early treatment protocols, mandate a novel mRNA jab, lie about its effectiveness & safety, pay yourself lavishly w/ taxpayer $, shield yourself from liability, accuse dissenters of spreading "misinformation" & then refuse to debate out of principle!
Peter, if you claim what RFKjr is saying is “misinformation” I am offering you $100,000.00 to the charity of your choice if you’re willing to debate him on my show with no time limit.
PSA: I know a lot of you follow me for football opinions, and are getting sick of this monomaniacal focus on civil liberties in the COVID era. I get it, but I will not let this go until the idea of coerced medical treatments is totally rejected. For me the stakes are infinite.

You about to lose followers with every tweet. Let’s start with me. Peace. Stick to sports opinions. You are no advisor of Medicine or immunology.
my goal in life is to be sitting next to one of my delusionally optimistic friends, seeing the mushroom cloud seconds before it annihilates us and say, "Told you."
Imagine a sport in which the refs were paid to throw the game, but the team they're trying to cheat is winning by such a huge margin, there's no way to do it without making it obvious. This is the situation in which the legacy media and democratic establishment find themselves.
Govt is like: yes, vax doesn't stop spread, lab leak was real all along, cloth masks were always bullshit, but we're going forward w/ entire agenda of mandates/masks/vax passes anyway. And you're like: This is wrong, but what am I gonna tell my friends who want to go to brunch?
Many of history's worst episodes were simply people hating the group their society permitted them to hate. And they believed just as strongly then as people do now that it was for good reason.
It is scary to realize but people who hate others for not getting vaccinated are truly gullible enough to have been propagandized to hate any minority group the government tells them to
Translation: "If people are allowed to speak freely, our agenda to surveil and control everyone will fail, and I'm quite likely going to prison for the things I did during Covid"
Weepin of war, indeed.
When the reckoning comes -- and it always does -- ask yourself whether you want to have been on the side of leaving people alone or controlling them for what the authorities assure you is the greater good. History has plenty of examples.
2. While some heavily blocked-per-follower accounts are just spammers or trolls, many others are heterodox thinkers whose views happen to trigger orthodox ones. Those are the most valuable accounts IMO, so this rule makes the site way worse.
No big deal, they just found Moderna's work inside Covid-19. But no doubt that's just a coincidence, just like the outbreak happening meters from the only lab doing GOF research. Be sure to blame your neighbor who won't inject chemicals into his kid, not those who funded the GOF.
The CEO of Moderna fumbles explaining why COVID-19 contains a gene sequence that was patented three years before the pandemic.
"Accident is Possible. Human makes mistakes."
Everyone is no doubt aware of how other countries have behaved/fared during COVID, right? I mean you see the contrast between Australia and places like Sweden obviously? You are surely curious and not mindlessly accepting what you see on TV and the signaling from your peer group?
Anyone who tells you it's okay to hate Russians, rural Americans who don't vote for the correct politicians or people who decline Pfizer's latest product would have hated whatever group it was acceptable to hate throughout history. It's the same mentality.
@JamesSurowiecki
@ClayTravis
The jury did not rule he committed a crime. It ruled he defamed her, but defamation was not possible unless he had in fact committed the crime, so it somehow criminally convicted him in a civil court with a lower standard of proof. Hence the OP's tweet about its absurdity.
fear, fear, fear, be afraid, do what you're told, fear, fear, fear, hate, hate, fear, hate, fear. Okay, now you can unfollow/mute/block the legacy media outlets in your feed because I gave you the gist of their message to you.
Still can't believe so many think it's okay to tell others they have to take medicine or be punished. That they think it's okay to direct hate and scorn toward their neighbors for declining a medicine they don't feel is in their interest to take.
BTW - I like Brissett as a second QB now. Running QB, has experience, great O-line, good weapons, and system is everything. Throw out his stats with Chuck Pagano as HC - like going from Jeff Fisher to Sean McVay.
1-yr anniversary of this tweet that had some accusing me of manslaughter (LOL), others whining to my business partner & predicting I'd delete it. But it's still here & I stand by it: It was a big mistake to cater to society's most neurotic and gaslight anyone with common sense.
People talk about wearing masks outside to make others feel comfortable, but I'll be honest, when I see that -- and it's the majority here -- I feel uncomfortable, like I'm surrounded by compliant people who would follow orders to burn me at the stake as a matter of civic duty.
Hard for me to get too worked up about the college bribing scandal. Colleges have always accepted bribes in the forms of buildings and donations. This is more about who was bribed - lowly administrators and athletic personnel rather than Boards of Trustees.
Narrative has collapsed so badly people no longer even try to articulate why they disagree w/ the substance of your claims. They know the vax doesn't stop spread, yet are vaguely angry you're against forcing it on people who don't want it. Things are getting weirder & weirder.
Was sitting next to my daughter (who has been good luck all season), and I think she was more upset than i was. TOMFD's destiny was losing today apparently. Have to accept it.
@GadSaad
Don't get it twisted, Gad: There is no symmetry to the sides, one of which was conditioning basic civil rights on taking a pharmaceutical product and the other that wanted to be left alone.
