🧵 For the first time, I attended a conference as a surviving carepartner. I was caught off-guard w/emotions walking into McCormick Place for #ASCO23, where 6 weeks earlier, I ran out of the same hall at @HIMSS to catch a ✈️ after my mother-in-law died from metastatic cancer.
