Our laws are stricter than in the US in some way and looser in others. Carry permits are really hard to get, and there's still some annoying paperwork to deal with, but we have no dumb SBR/pistol laws, we can import what we want, even new production machine guns.

@ReynardTeirusu Around 2009 letsplayers were only just becoming popular, so I stuck with examples that fit the tweet. While a bit different, letsplays still count as "guy in front of camera" content. But no talking heads were always the de facto #1 type of content and likely always will be.

Finland plans to open 300 gun ranges, promoting firearm safety & proficiency as part of national defense. Imagine if the U.S. embraced a similar approach. Could we ever shift to a model where the govβt encourages responsible gun ownership? Thoughts?
