Today a brave woman is laid to rest in Brussels. Andrée Dédé Dumon, codenamed NADINE, passed away recently aged 102. As a 17 year old, NADINE joined the Belgian resistance group known as the Cométe (or Comet Line). 1/2

NADINE acted as a courier to escort downed British airmen to safety, working with MI9. Eventually arrested in 1942, she ended up in Bergen-Belsen which she was lucky to survive. A true heroine. RIP NADINE. 2/2.
