Today, in fourth grade .. “if you can’t beat them, join them” ( and by beat I don’t mean physicaly) 🤣 Students had to find a decimal between .6 and .7 On a numberline.. If you work in a school.. you know!!

Just stopping by to say that if you are an administrator K-6 or a curriculum designer, and you expect teachers to use 2/3 of their ELA time to do a read aloud, you’re doing read alouds wrong. And if you’re a teacher at K-6 and you are the one choosing to spend 2/3 of your ELA
