More coaches should use the extra games @KSHSAA is giving teams now to create top-notch matchups like this. Major props to Wichita East and Little River for making this game happen. This is what Friday nights should look like.

This one will be interesting. @eve_long23 dropped 43 pts vs 6A #1 SMSS and needed all of them in the 61-59 win and OS is battle tested and really good. @MHS is undersized but comes at you in waves, if they can use their bench and stay fresh their tempo could be an answer.

So good. Izzo is right. I get that the profession is getting younger and it has to because of the rules or lack thereof but this type of mentorship and the mentality of doing what’s right for the game is missing and will be completely gone soon at the rate we’re replacing coaches

One of the most disgusting things I find about high school girls basketball is the ticky-tac, no advantage/disadvantage, BS calls that are NEVER called in boys games. In 40+ years of being around HS basketball you'd think that crap would have stopped by now. @PGHKansas
