This is the exact kind of flow that Paul Mills has been teaching at Wichita State. When the ball goes in & 3 are on opposite side, instead of standing, someone needs to make this 45 cut to stress the defense. @sibande_nike gets an easy 2 from @Leyfro by moving without the ball.

Another player who was lights out on D all of @thetournament was former Shocker @WizKellyy. Just like at WSU, he is still top-tier in a team defense construct with his help. He was the low man a lot and always made the rotation to blow up plays like this throughout TBT.

The defense was fun to watch, but my favorite part about @Marcus14__'s game was his play-making out of the short roll. Such a difference-maker to have a 5 who you can throw to on the run and have them make the right read. He unlocked AfterShocks' O when teams trapped the guards.

A unsung hero for the @AfterShocksTBT was @Marcus14__, who had a claim for defensive MVP just because of how much he was involved in actions and how good he was - especially on trail D. Former VCU/Texas Tech big was a late addition, but a huge one for @thetournament title run.
