Back when this was first published we talked about poverty being the elephant in the room but no social worker can be unaware now of the impact of poverty and not be determined to challenge and seek to address the cause and impact on individuals and communities #radicalsocialwork

.@WomensAidNI had its core funding reduced to £0. That is a failure of public policy with deadly consequences. Domestic abuse is a healthcare issue (@mikenesbittni) and a criminal justice issue (@naomi_long). When can we get a properly funded strategy to end #VAWG?
