Had chance to discuss w Minister of Transport Canada the U.S. investments in ports; I acknowledged that his budget, too, prioritizes ports and supply chain digitization. (He winked) Lo and behold next day he was at @PortSaintJohn to announce massive infrastructure grant 👏🏼👏🏼🇨🇦🇺🇸.
We work hand-in-hand with our American neighbours. With the co-chairs of our Supply Chain Task Force, Jean Gattuso & Louise Yako, we hosted a roundtable in Washington with industry leaders to discuss how we can better innovate to strengthen 🇨🇦&🇺🇸's common supply chains.

Litter pickup waste of time, show studies. Thinking about this while walking the C&O canal…. article w/o much analysis says look to regulate packaging producers, but IF problem is hyper local as studies suggest then maybe hyper local pride prevails .

Litter collection may not be doing enough to stall a vicious cycle of new trash. Data on littering suggests a better route may be to hold producers accountable.
