I remember my first block of on calls as an F1 before Infinity and if I compared it to nights I’ve just finished, I can confirm it has made a world of difference!

Our 'doctors mess' - used by postgraduate doctors in training for breaks during their long shifts - has recently been given a full make-over. The new space is a relaxing environment, so they can look after their own wellbeing while they care for others 💙

Managed to finally impress my regs on my last ITU shift today when I could name bacillus cereus as a gram +ve rod.. turns out my 3rd year memory aid that rice are rod shaped grains that are yum, so much be a +ve thing, worked! 🍚
