Enjoying the sunshine! Summer at SNRC means that therapy sessions, ward rounds and lunch can take place in the patients garden. A much loved space by all staff and patients.

Beautifully crisp walk to work this morning! So glad I made to move to work closer to home. No more stressful rush hours, no more expensive parking. Perfect work, life balance. Looking after my own well-being is just as important as looking after my teams! Feeling Blessed ❤️

Christmas Bingo at SNRC today! So many therapeutic benefits of this fun game! Social interaction, improving mood, increasing hand-eye coordination and sharpening cognitive abilities. Just think about the concentration it takes to manage multiple games. Our Patients did great!

We’re definitely getting in the festive spirit this week at SNRC. We’ve had Children from the primary school come and entertain us with their fabulous singing, Christmas jumper day, and today we invited some ex patients to join us for our Christmas party! What a fun week!

Thank you to Pitt Farm for donating these pumpkins to us at Somerset Neuro Rehabilitation Centre. We love finding fun ways to engage patients in therapy and this pumpkin carving activity was enjoyed by all. The results are Fab! 🎃
