Loved my visit to @NCAD_Dublin graduate show yesterday. Was particularly drawn to Sinéad Cabagbag’s painting of her younger sister. Told a woman beside me how much I loved it. Turns out she was Sinéad’s mam. We’d such a great chat.

Knew I wanted to read @sarahgilmartin_’s Service after her chat with @SMooreFitz @ulcwfestival. It’s fantastic. A disturbing subject captured through characters I cared about (mostly!) and fully believed in. Can’t recommend it enough.

Lovely memory from April 2016 when Orla & I went to Collins Barracks to hear Dermot Bolger interview Paul Durcan for the Centenary of the Rising. Paul asked me if I’d mind if he changed a word in one of his poems. He regretted calling his uncle feckless. Mind! I treasure my copy
