I am happy to share our review on the liver-brain axis in MASLD, describing the clinical evidence and its plausible mechanisms. This publication in @LancetGastroHep cements the increasing awareness and importance of MASLD-associated cognitive dysfunction.

Very interesting! .Children born with urea cycle disorders fail to clear gut-derived ammonia and suffer from hyperammonemic crises + brain dysfunction. DGBI? .Same could be said for HE. However liver disease induces alterations in gut which impacts brain function. DL(liver)GBI?.
