Many next steps lie ahead. 1️⃣Creating an easy speech analysis app for our patients.2️⃣Is using app at home and clinic feasible?.3️⃣How does this work in sub groups and outside our 2 sites?.4️⃣Does using the app influence care and improve outcomes?.5️⃣Other languages?. And more!.

We enrolled at two sites: Michigan and Texas. 🗣️.Sex, accent, native language and regional background did not impact how well the speech analysis predicted HE.

Thrilled to have this work out in @HEP_Journal !. Short version:.The problem - it’s hard to diagnose minimal HE or predict future overt HE in clinic. What we found - automated speech analysis can do both
