held a Rock the Boat Guinness World Record attempt, which they believe they have achieved, on Salthill Prom today. 1,805 people of all ages 'rocked the boat' during the event. The current record is 1,702 people.
Galway will NOT be moving to Level 3 restrictions. Donegal and Dublin will remain the only counties on Level 3.

Two people were arrested last evening in Salthill after Gardaí attempted to disperse a group of up to 40 teenagers at Blackrock. There was a large Garda presence in the area during the incident which occurred around 7pm.
