Road closures back the west are now going ahead after the objector informed the High Court this morning that he was withdrawing his judicial review!. This follows a meeting with Galway's Westend traders to explore other options for road signage that made it illegal to cycle!

@MarcJenno Until then, we cannot legally proceed with any street closures. We know how frustrating this is—especially with the sunshine rolling in, outdoor seating prepped, extra staff lined up, and all of us counting on this to bring people together and drive footfall.

@MarcJenno We’ve just been informed that the planned road closures for this Friday, 16th May have been postponed due to a legal complaint made around the application process. This case is now going to court and will be heard again on May 26th.
