Inspired by spotting small discarded bits of metal flattened, embedded in Tarmac, polished underfoot, I’m experimenting using this as a canvas for making tiny public artworks. Hot slightly melted roads are ideal. Just installed this one next to a primary school I live by.

Turned down a few offers from banks in CanaryWharf to sponsor #FloatingEarth who hoped to use artwork for greenwashing /art washing. Told artwork there had triggered internal discussions amongst staff about their companies impact on environment - which is a good start I suppose.
