This part of the country is a load bearing megaregion in a way that’s underappreciated. People in the Midwest love to talk about “the Midwest” but that’s lame and undeserved compared to This region.

Great things happen on our annual meeting off-site tours! Thanks to Maryland and the City of Baltimore for hosting some exceptional policy tours today focusing on health, housing, education, and workforce development.
I am so impressed with Baltimore Healthy Start program! Established in 1991. One of the original 15 Healthy Start projects. The only federally funded program of its kind in Maryland. They work in communities with rates of infant mortality at least 1 1/2 times the U.S. national
