@ianjhurst the metro goes out arguably too far! (should be commuter rail / s bahn instead). at the end of the day, nobody is forcing people to live in Manassas or Leesburg. these places have excellent commuter buses anyways. The metro is great in the city.

@nikicaga what’s bleak is that, anecdotally, a lot of this is top down. I used to work with some cops, that were frustrated the chief wouldn’t let them do more traffic enforcement and assisting on calls. They were bored. Leadership didn’t want to risk the controversy.
