Too many public wastebaskets have gone missing across District 3 and this leads to more litter, illegal dumping, and strain on our sanitation workers. I’ve sent a letter to the Department of Sanitation requesting swift action to replace them & improve the process moving forward.

Congrats to all the members of the Fair Fares coaltion including @PSC_CUNY for winning an expansion of reduced-fare metro card program. The FY26 budget includes $25 million to restore previous funding and increase program eligibility to 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.
