"The best reason to enter a category isn't the lack of competition. It's having a unique insight, a fresh perspective, or a burning desire to solve a problem in a new way." Couldn't agree more @thisisgrantlee !.

When I tell people that Gamma is taking on slides, I often get puzzled looks. "Isn't that market saturated?". "Doesn't PowerPoint dominate everything?". The market is crowded, and yes, there are dominant players who've been around for decades. But here's what most people miss:

Weekend reading: A quick thread on Netflix's 5As for giving/receiving feedback:. 1. Aim to assist. Give feedback to be helpful. Don’t work off anger or promote your own goals. 2. Actionable. Give specific feedback to help make the person better. .

Left: @NASAHubble Right: @NASAWebb images of The Pillars of Creation. Observations here help us understand how stars form out of the nearby gas and dust. Amazing how JWST can cut through the dust to get such clarity!

#3 Goal setting and how it applies to org, team, ICs.Do they like to have sep Eng and prod OKRs? If so, where do they draw the line? Each team has different roles to play from discovery to delivery and delighting a cust. Don’t let goal setting get in the way of seamless collab.

#2 Building aligned and empowered teams together. Clear company level objectives & team ownership are the first two things needed to align teams and empower them to do the best work of their career. Team structure (competency vs domain, etc) is a whole sep topic!.

#1 How our teams collaborate on solution design. I often find this the crux of where Eng & prod collab breaks, trust and free flow of ideas and info is paramount & there is no room for egos or bureaucracy. Put the customer and company first and build something amazing together.
