That doesn't make it less adult oriented, the TV rating of TV-MA means it's adult oriented.
If it was rated 14+ or TV-14 you'd have a point, but it's adult oriented. Just because those episodes are FINE for 16+ to watch doesn't mean IT'S AIMED at 16 year Olds

Because I just did. Do I have to write up a massive dissertation about why I liked a show? I don't think it's perfect nor is it an amazing adaptation, but it's a great show and I really enjoy it as a unique adaptation.

No. Roald Dahl (the author) hated the Wilder version and his Widow actively worked on the Burton version which is extremely accurate to the book.
You can like the Wilder version better but saying it's better "if you've read the books" is just wrong.

I had a couple of issues with the show, mostly the art style turned me off when I first went to go watch the show, and the changes made to Casey Jones as a character (i miss my sport themed vigilante, unless they planned to make thie version of Casey into one before cancellation)

As someone who has played MK11 religiously, that game is so much more fun for me than X, you don't have to agree but I'm not lying, I like pretty much everything in 11 more than X, although I do think from what I've played of MK1 it's a significant step up

I disagree, outside of ONE stinker, Season 2 overall is a much more fun watch for me. I think Season 1 is good and has two of my favorite episodes, but overall Season 2 just hits harder for me (Even if I like Infinity Ultron a lot)
