Painted in 1886 after his honeymoon, Anders Zorn’s 'Summer Delight,' depicts his wife Emma waiting for her husband who is rowing the boat; this is a study of the finished work and shows an influence from the French Impressionists but with a distinctively Scandinavian palette.

“Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.” Trump completely loses it at a female reporter who asked about the Epstein files. What a disgusting man.

"At least 15 English sewage plants use plastic beads spilled at Camber Sands." So @Southernwater's toxic plastic bead pollution now extends from Eastbourne all the way to at least Folkestone, that's about 50 miles of coast. Polluted by something introduced 34 years ago as a

No. We must educate people and stop encouraging them to think that migration is the cause of their dissatisfaction, or difficulties. Pandering to Reform isn't going to save anyone's seat, or this government.

This won’t smack as very Labour with some of our colleagues, and I get it, but it isn’t very Labour either to allow communities to breed resentment through ignoring their fears and concerns that they happen to have. We must unite what is divided!

In 2020 Keir Starmer and Alf Dubs urged the Government to restore their commitment to family reunion for child refugees, saying there was a “moral argument” to protect desperately vulnerable young people. Five years later Dubs condemns Starmer for doing the complete opposite

Well no: it is Reform that is controlling the narrative, dictating the narrative - and a cowardly government following suit.

Labour is, for the first time, controlling the narrative on immigration. This is how politics is done, whether you like the policies or not. It is also progress, unless you would like Farage as PM and Lee Anderson as Home Secretary. None of it is easy.

London is a place where people of every creed, colour and culture live together in peace and mutual respect. A city where a council estate kid with immigrant parents can become Mayor. That’s the reason some don’t want our modern, multicultural, progressive metropolis to succeed.

“I am the child of immigrants.” A disgusting invocation of her identity to defend an anti-immigrant, anti-refugee cruel plan that is winning her praise today from Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage. Shameful.

I am the child of immigrants. Illegal migration is creating division across our country. It is a broken system and we have a genuine problem to fix. My job is to find a proper solution that can unite a divided country.
