Why would they? UFC fighters have had plenty of chance to fight back against their conditions over the years They refuse because there isn't a legit competitor in MMA
"I THINK THERE WILL BE A REVOLT FROM THE UFC FIGHTERS" @EddieHearn discusses Zuffa Boxing and @DanaWhite ahead of their first show tonight and predicts a revolt from UFC fighters due to the purses 🤯 Thoughts? 🤔 Watch our full interview with Eddie in full HERE 🔗

Was always going to be the case As long as Turki was overpaying fighters, he could monopolise the sport As soon as he doesn't want to, boxing is back to square one except fighters are LESS likely to take risky fights
Turki's money was all temporary. But the entire boxing world became reliant on Turki and now you see what is happening. No network wants to go all in on boxing. But Ennis/Ortiz needs to happen period. Figure it out.

It is interesting that the lack of KOs has been widely mentioned as a negative Can obv see why However competitive matches often result in close fights
@arielhelwani Pros: All B sides came to win The TV production was good Rodriguez-Sandoval was a good fight The pacing was great Cons: A lack of KOs/exciting moments It doesn't feel like I was watching any world class fighters or guys with potential to reach that level. Despite the

Business is business, but even Ryan Garcia recognizes the ridiculousness of him fighting for the WBC welterweight title next. Not his fault, of course. Just taking advantage of the flawed four-belt system & whatever the sanctioning bodies are willing to do to maximize profits
ringmagazine.com
You almost have to commend Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) for publicly making a mockery of this obvious sanctioning scam. He’ll benefit from it, of course, if he beats Mario Barrios.

Issue Zuffa has - and was always going to have - they don't have the march on the competition UFC became what it is by becoming THE place to be in MMA, without breaking the bank They can't do that in boxing

All promoters put on "fights that don't actually mean anything" in the grand scheme of things Eddie has made millions doing it Benn vs Eubank falls into that category purely from a boxing POV Dangerous criticism for any promoter to throw around
Eddie Hearn with a blunt take via IFL TV 👀🥊 “These are three ten-round fights that don’t actually mean anything.” Harsh — but is he wrong? Do fights still matter if there’s nothing on the line? 💬🔥

You mean he hasn't appeared on SAS: Quien se atreve, gana?
Victor Valdés warned before retiring: “When I retire, I will disappear. I’ll go somewhere no one can find me.” And he did. The legendary goalkeeper of Guardiola’s Barcelona, after a career filled with titles and unforgettable nights, decided to walk away completely from

Us and that lot down the road are more alike than either care to admit 😂
Literally most stupid debate going on at the moment. Those of us who did the away days in L1 when the club was at its lowest should always be priority. Just because we're back in the prem doesn't mean the club should now keep tickets separate for the stay aways to now attend

Good take on PEDs here Proving intent is impossible so the bodies have to rely on positive tests with some threshold or level to judge against Problem is that even trace amounts don't mean innocent or that there hasnt been an advantage gained over time
Please understand this: Anti-Doping Science Is a Spectrum, Not a Verdict. It's not a binary of yes/no. A "positive" test doesn't mean a cheater, and it doesn't mean an innocent boxer. Just because you "unknowingly" drove over the speed limit doesn't mean your license should be

Obviously the fighter There isn't a trainer alive that could get me through 12 rounds 😂
“So who’s more important — the trainer or the fighter?” 👀🥊 The story of Prince Naseem Hamed, Brendan Ingle, and the slow death of the trainer-fighter bond raises a timeless boxing question. Where do you land on this debate? 💬

Don't disagree with any of the quote ODLH speaks sense from a place of experience Yet his actions as a promoter border on bizarre
