Right winner though. No real argument for Cruz winning. Good performance by both, but Muratalla won that.

7-5 Muratalla I can see a draw. Fought very smart and was just the bigger and stronger fighter.

4-4 Too many single shots by Muratalla and Cruz's jab disrupted his rhythm just enough.

Lol, he did not have a glass chin in his prime. When he did get flush, he took the shots fine. Getting dropped once means what?
Roy Jones Jr was a great fighter especially at 160-168. At Light Heavyweight I would probably favour Artur Beterbiev 60-40. Roy Jones Jr arguably had a glass chin. Got brutally KO by Tarver and Johnson at 175. Even in his prime Roy Jones Jr got dropped heavy by Lou Del Valle 🥊

Turki's money was all temporary. But the entire boxing world became reliant on Turki and now you see what is happening. No network wants to go all in on boxing. But Ennis/Ortiz needs to happen period. Figure it out.
Eddie Hearn reveals the current negotiations for Ortiz-Ennis have not been funded by Turki Alalshikh and instead has been been proposed by Matchroom & Golden Boy. “The issue is that now because of the new wave, it makes the actual number less attractive.” #Boxing

9-3 or maaybeee 8-4 Floyd. Not a hard fight at all to score.

No he would not. And if it is a younger Manny, than he would be facing a younger Floyd as well. Floyd has been buzzed multiple of times and he knew what to do every time he got hurt. He grew up in the gym. He was not getting KOd....maybe by someone like Hearns. But Manny? Nah.

I mean Canelo is on the decline. That has been obvious for a while. But the win was still great. Crawford was fighting three weight classes below just two years ago. Only one fight at 154 before going up to 168.
If Canelo Álvarez looks bad in his return to the ring, does it hurt Terence Crawford’s legacy? The panel weighs in. #InsideTheRing | Latest episode available on DAZN 📺

Agreed. As good of a defensive fighter Shakur is, he's below the others in terms of athleticism and even speed. He's not as natural of an athlete as Floyd, who he compares himself to. But Teo against good defensive fighters loads up way too much. Will be his downfall.

With negotiations stalled for his showdown with @JaronEnnis, a lawsuit has been filed on behalf of @VergilOrtiz to terminate his contract with Golden Boy Promotions. They signed a 3-year extension in May 2024, but Ortiz wants out. Read my @ringmagazine story for details:
