There is one central midfielder we've enquired about which may start to progress a bit quicker now CWC is over. Andrey Santos, club asked about conditions around a straight loan deal recently but Chelsea weren't willing to negotiate because he was part of the squad.

Certainly isn't the clubs first choice, he's on the list but we're not as interested as some outlets are making it seem. There's a lot of media noise linking midfielders left right and centre. Central midfield is not where the club are prioritising for signings right now.
