Very sad to mark the passing today of HRH Prince Philip.
Among his many accomplishments is his wartime service as an officer in the Royal Navy, where he served alongside Canadians, some of whom I knew personally, who often shared their tales of respect for him. Heart of Oak.
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
