I came to see it as a substantial red flag when people avert from questions & post incoherent narratives, rather than systematically make their case. I've invited a lot of people to field questions & it's my experience those who have something legit to present are eager to do so.

This kind of unverified & arguably absurd rhetoric may be the most indicative of hidden agendas. When doing valid work they’d like to publish, one doesn’t typically grasp at straws & lack receipts.
