I find that nutrition is far more difficult to hit macros daily with quality foods. Showing up and training hard is the easy part.

In a massing phase, it greatly helps to start eating early and often. Once you reach a caloric intake where eating becomes uncomfortable, the little tricks really start to matter in getting the food down every day.
