Heavily disagree with those saying "think how good we'd be if we only wrestled freestyle." Pay attention. What we're doing is working. Maybe Folkstyle is what makes us a little different (in a lot of ways) and sets us apart from the rest of the world.

Redshirts and non varsity athletes. Just because you’re not the starter, doesn’t mean your training is worthless. Just because your team is on the road, doesn’t mean you should take days off. Stay prepared and stay focused. You never know when you’re time will come!

Always amazed at the wrestling personalities out there are consistently negative about the sport, the rules, and the officiating. I don't get it. The sport is thriving in my opinion and is stronger and more entertaining than ever. National attendance is up and climbing.

Wyoming had two NCAA qualifiers Cole Verner (Green River) and Hayden Hastings (Sheridan). The last time the state had multiple qualifiers was in 2015. Since the year 2008, all Wyoming natives that have qualified for the NCAA Championships, wrestled at the University of Wyoming.

Things I've learned...the best HS wrestlers WANT to go to a program that pushes them...makes them hurt...let's them experience pain and discomfort. They know it takes those sensory experiences to get them to the top. Gives them comfort when you're wrestling for all the marbles

This is no excuse. We had 4 guys wrestling UP a weight tonight and another starter out on top of that. That’s not ideal when you’re wrestling one of the top teams in the country. We didn’t compete well enough and we have to get better regardless of the circumstances. 1/2

I think it will be after I'm out of the game (hopefully not) but I believe wrestling will be THE sport of all sports. Seeing the emergence of women's wrestling and understanding the pureness of the sport has me very optimistic. The world needs wrestling. 1 human vs 1 human
