The more I study history, the more I am convinced that the large cycles of history are just dependent on merchants having control and running things into the ground and then some sort of reset.

Very proud to release 'Leaving a Legacy: Inheritance, Charity, & Thousand-Year Families'. The book addresses a key question: Why should we leave wealth to our children and not to charities? Clarity is necessary. We're on the verge of the greatest wealth transfer in history as

@mgshanks UK has the highest industrial energy prices of any developed nation: a conscious choice by this Labour government. So no, 'every reasonable avenue' was not explored. https://t.co/VvgvQzg2Dm

The last hereditary peers pose for a group photo before being stripped of the last scrap of their political birthright. The next government could undo this constitutional vandalism but they won't because they'll be useless cowards as usual.

There's a hard truth at the heart of the Assisted Dying Bill, and it cuts through every soft phrase and staged plea: once a state grants itself the right to kill the vulnerable "for their own good," it stops being a guardian and starts being an executioner. Canada proved it.

Today the Security Minister told us about the threat of Chinese espionage. Minutes earlier I challenged the Energy Minister to keep Chinese companies out of our infrastructure. He refused to do so. You couldn’t make it up.

Yes, we should suspend visas for countries that don't cooperate when we enforce our border. But in the first half of 2025, just 120 people applied for asylum here from these three countries, out of 49,701 people total. That’s 0.2%. It isn’t going to touch the sides.

Asylum seekers are not allowed to work in the first 12 months of arrival. That is to end. Labour want to undercut their own voters. You can't hate the media enough for parroting the "tough on immigration" bullshit that was spouted yesterday. Do you really think a dedicated

This is hugely important, there isn’t a crack down on asylum seekers at all! The government is creating: ▪️a low-rights asylum category (Core Protection) ▪️better migrant category (Protection Work & Study) This lets them: 1.push people out of the asylum statistics, 2.claim

We all know which countries should be targeted and visas stopped: Pakistan, Somalia, Eritrea, Afghanistan for starters. Who has even met a person from Namibia: it's 3 million people, sent about 2 illegals. Why don't we randomly target Bhutan? I am sure one illegal came from
