This is the best case scenario because we know 100% of red states will go for the jugular while probably a majority of blue states will tie one hand behind their backs as usual.
If every blue state under Dem control (15) mid-cycle redistricted to the maximum, they could squeeze 37 @GOP lawmakers out of their seats. If every red state under GOP control (23) did the same, they'd evict 47 Democrats.

Will. Not. Work. Do better.
Many of us are looking for a positive message from the left (the democrats in the US, the center left in Europe) to win the coming elections. My two cents: Now that autocracy has shown more and more clearly its true nature, its barbarity, its randomness, make the next elections.

My guess is Trump would veto. He knows that a) every red state will go 110% while half of blue states will chicken out, and b) he’d relish a dozen more MAGA votes from places like TX and TN over those pesky OC and NY trouble makers.
Could “moderate” NY and CA GOP get enough Dems and GOP to push a “freeze in place” redistricting bill through? It would obviously be for self preservation, not anything admirable, but would they have the votes? Would leadership allow the vote?.

You know what to do Maryland.
Certainly sounds like Missouri Republicans are full steam ahead on redistricting. I got this statement from Lt. Gov. David Wasinger (R) last night, which reads in part: "We missed the chance to secure a 7-1 map in 2022, a mistake President Trump rightly calls on us to fix."

It’s pretty telling that the right is going all in on trying to tarnish Sara Rodriguez. She’s clearly the one they are afraid of. Would not be shocked if they quietly tried to boost a more left wing candidate like Kelda Roys.
Why can’t Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor be honest about why she posted the video announcing her gubernatorial campaign a week before Governor Evers announced his retirement? Because that’s just not this Administration’s style. My latest at @MacIverWisc:

The GOP is going to nominate him for governor aren't they? They just can't help themselves. This guy is going to have very limited appeal in the populous MKE suburbs where they are bleeding the most.
Wisconsin’s economic comeback starts with putting American workers first and getting government out of the way. By following President Trump’s agenda to cut red tape, we can bring back good-paying jobs, revitalize manufacturing, and fuel economic growth across the state.

Unfortunately this is very often the case.
@BlueCheese608 These people who pretty much hate democrats are the face of democrats to most people who don’t follow politics.
