In 2018 the entire Democratic spectrum from very moderate to very liberal would have rallied around Jasmine Crockett. See, we have made progress.

There were no slam dunk candidates, but IMO Allred was the best of the 3. Crockett is not winning a general & the other guy seems really unpredictable. The iron seems fairly hot @McConaughey.
Colin Allred says he’s ending his Senate bid and will instead run for a safe blue House seat in Dallas:

Confirmed. I have relatives in tiny Barron, Wisconsin, near Eau Claire. Somalis have been there for decades - now 13% of the population, way higher than Minneapolis. The town is largely peaceful & uneventful. Example #316: The algorithms show you the worst of humanity.

Just became my dad. Used duct tape to repair a bed frame. With the bedding on there you can't even see it.

I love how Leo put on some red vestments or whatever & let some trad priest say a Latin mass at the Vatican but it was all a head fake.
🚨New: Pope Leo denounces fear of Islam: “It is possible to live together, to be friends” and he calls on Catholics to be less afraid of Islam He said: “There are no enemies; there are only brothers and sisters” He said Christians in the Middle East to prioritize unity,

The lowest hanging fruit for income redistribution is getting rid of the social security FICA tax cap without expanding the top benefits cap. It will happen eventually whether people want it or not.

This is the argument I've been hoping Democrats would make for years - universal health insurance would unleash small businesses & entrepreneurs. Yes taxes would be higher for everyone - which is good.
Universal healthcare is a moral imperative. It unleashes creativity. It unleashes small business. I often think about what Maine would look like if all of my friends who work incredibly hard didn't have to worry about healthcare.

Sorta kinda wish he was running for a 3rd term NGL.
.@GovEvers vetoed several bills today, including AB308, a GOP bill aiming to ban public dollars from covering health care costs for those in the U.S. illegally, which drew criticism as an election messaging bill, not a substantive one. The veto message is a must-read.

They’re…they’re touting this? Lmao
U.S. Treasuries are having their best year since 2020, and the investors who had confidence and faith in President Trump’s economic policies have been richly rewarded. Never bet against @POTUS or America! 🇺🇸

We got her back!
Sydney Sweeney tells PEOPLE that she “doesn’t support the views” that people connected her American Eagle campaign to: “I was honestly surprised by the reaction. I did it because I love the jeans and love the brand. I don’t support the views some people chose to connect to the

I'm just going to reply here and say thank you governor for the seasonal sentiment because I see all 54 comments are hysterically shrieking about something, something Christmas tree, something something woke, something something communist.

The US should obviously have weened its large military footprint from Japan, Korea, and Germany years if not decades ago. It doesn’t mean we should leave overnight, but we need a plan to leave.
