I saw PROJECT HAIL MARY yesterday and I don't think I've ever seen a more crowdpleasing picture in my life. It's going to kill with audiences. Just nailed every emotional and comic beat it wanted to hit. Perfectly Spielbergian pop cinema.

The claim that young White boys are being radicalized is a particularly galling lie. For basically any supposedly scary belief/influencer, they are the least “radicalized” major racial group. Least likely to like Andrew Tate, least anti-semitic, etc. The rise in these ideologies
Platforms like YouTube, 4chan, and Parlor are radicalizing an entire generation of white boys. These sites stoke hate for profit. Their algorithms quickly escalate content from funny memes to white nationalist propaganda. As an educator, I believe our public schools must act.

Tombstone was a weird watch Great actors and an all timer performance from Kilmer. A couple truly memorable scenes. But narratively it seems to never really congeal into anything. A case of a movie being much LESS than the sum of its parts.
Did I wake up in the one timeline where Tombstone *isn't* considered one of the greatest movies?
