There is confusion among some Bitcoiners 👇 Core was on the right side of previous wars (2014, 2017) therefore they must be on the right side in 2025. Shitcoining is bad but shitcoining on Bitcoin is good.
@tulkooo2 This really confuses me. A lot of the ones who have been fighting shitcoins with us for years are now silent. It's like they didn't understand what they were fighting.

I am happy that all of the objections to bip444 have been resolved. We can now happily move forward together to adopt it because: -we all believe that spam exists, - it doesn't belong on bitcoin, and - we should be hostile to it. 🙂🤗

@giacomozucco @rleder Yes, Vitalik didn't send any ordinals because of a filter from 2014. Not only do filters work, they work remarkably well. Even the threat of a filter is enough to stop some spam
