Speaking of patterns, @thisisUIC's @alexfeuillet a recent paper reported that people with lower cognitive performance have less healthy smartphone usage. It supports the idea that this type of data can be used to create an "early warning system" for the #brain. #neurotech

I'm so goddamn proud to know the @BiAffect team and get to share the amazing work they do in this article! Based on the University of Illinois at Chicago, they have created a custom keyboard that analyzes typing pattern to track mental health. Truly amazing!
A new keyboard Case Study is up! 💡 BiAffect is an app that tracks mental health by analyzing typing patterns, like a "Fitbit for the brain." It monitors keystroke dynamics, typing speed, etc. to provide insights into mood & cognitive states. Read more at
