What it felt like being bipolar and unmedicated

sometimes your psychiatrist will diagnose you with bipolar disorder and try to sic big pharma on you. what you actually need to do is dump your boyfriend, quit your job, stop talking to all of your friends, move to a new city, and start over.

Day 107 no alcohol - having bipolar is a trigger with my binge drinking strangely when I’m in a low period I’m safe from booze just want to sleep, however when manic it’s like Im already pissed my euphoria is so high but that’s when I want to drink and cant stop & blackout

something i really hate about having bipolar is when small things trigger it, triggers my system. and it just sends me in a spiral. like… wow i have to live with this for the rest of my life. great. and despite what people say, it’ll always be there. even in hindsight.
