Speeding and the sheer volume of road traffic are the two biggest transport issues for residents in Beckenham. So where are all the speed- and traffic-reduction schemes? We're looking hard but struggling to find many!
Lastly, many residents are concerned about speeding, the overall volume of road traffic, the lack of community toilets and air pollution, amongst other things.

Another polluted & congested Saturday on #Beckenham High Street. Limits on through traffic, separated cycle lanes, and making the parking spaces loading zones & blue badge only, would transform the high street at minimal cost. Boroughs across London are doing this - why not here?

Although it's now safer to cross Southend Rd, a network of protected lanes is *urgently* needed across Bromley to make cycling a safe and attractive option for everyday travel. The benefits for Bromley residents would be huge - more exercise, dramatically lower transport costs.
