I love this triple-decker triplex. The US should really do a similar design catalog to help local developers build more housing.
Canada has released it's "Housing Design Catalogue" which includes 50 middle-housing designs from ADUs to six-plexes. Each design is developed by local teams to align with regional building codes, planning rules, climate zones, construction methods & materials. šØš¦ @CMHC_ca

@Hrymrrr The elevator requirement is a good reason not to go above four stories. You can still achieve great density with four story buildings, if you go wall to wall around the entire block.

Statistics & damnedā¦ When SMH quotes 28 322 Building approvals in last 12 months - is that ābuildingsā or ādwellingsā? Or is a 40 storey building with 100ās apartments same as 1 granny flat approval? Really tells you nothing. What matters anyway are real building completionsā¦
