It's too easy to found nowadays. Instead of getting Jobs + Wozniak, we're just getting a bunch of solo Steves

Woz Founder in Residence is now the #1 job on Hacker News This is a rare opportunity for a technical builder to operate like a founder inside a YC startup that recently raised a $6M seed round, surrounded by experienced engineers and builders in the heart of San Francisco.

Every AI coding startup claims their tool produces "production-ready code". This is just marketing. You should take that with a grain of salt. First, writing "production-ready" code is extremely laborious, and I don't think AI coding is there yet. These models are much more

Woz (@WithWoz1) has raised $6M to launch the first AI Product Factory. AI prototyping is easy. Building apps that real businesses can trust? Not so much. Woz changes that. Start building your mobile app today: https://t.co/wIgh0toDyK Congrats @BenjaminT007 & @ChefEckert on the

Every other AI app builder has decided it's ok to serve sloppy low quality code, and set their users up for future pain. At Woz, we’re not ok with this. So we raised $6M and built something different: the first AI Product Factory. It blends agentic AI, repeatable manufacturing

Compiles ≠ Correct. AI often “fixes” errors by stripping away types. The code compiles, but your system quietly breaks. I wrote about why strict type safety is the guardrail for maintainable AI-generated code. via @UniteAi https://t.co/OqN7VDoqRw

Today low quality code limits use of AI app builders to low risk / low value scenarios (prototypes, demos, internal tools). To move beyond prototypes and build software that is the foundation of lasting products and businesses, we must instead optimize for code quality and human

No more AI slop. Code quality must be the new benchmark for AI app building. To move beyond prototypes and build software that is the foundation of lasting products and businesses, we must optimize for code quality and robust architecture. @WithWoz1 is the only platform doing

This isn’t going to stop anytime soon. When you optimize for speed and broad surface level functionality you are forced to make tradeoffs.

There's been a huge security breach discovered in Lovable by @AviWolicki. The Supabase endpoints and API keys are compiled into frontend code. Anyone with public access to your app can extract them and access your data. @AviWolicki has a large list of exposed websites.

The evolution of "vibe coding production software as a non-dev" the last few months Success stories do exist... ones I see all come from people who are/were software engineers Learning to code / build software not a waste after all?

I think I’m going to give up on vibe coding for now. I tried building something but besides the nice initial design I always end up stuck with errors. The tools try to fix them but most of the time they fail. The process takes so many trials (and credits!) that it becomes

I Watched AI Agents Try to Hack My Vibe-Coded Website It's all fun and games until you discover AI giveth and AI taketh away. I don't think there is anything wrong with vibe coding but pushing to prod without any safeguards is asking for tears. Eventually tools like RunSybil
