Called in @BenGoldsmith’s stunning Cannwood site in #Somerset today. Gets better and better every time I see it. Truly wonderful abundance and diversity of wildlife. Huge quantity of Burnet moths. Tree Pipits singing everywhere. New ponds buzzing with dragonflies. Superb.

We went out to a Peregrine Falcon, which appears to have been kept in captivity and released in very poor condition. Thankfully it was rescued by Woodlands small Wildlife Rescue and taken to a specialist rehab centre. We have taken DNA in hope to trace back to original nest site.

Yet another food security concern: The Land Use Framework, which states that 9% of England’s farmland will need to be taken out of production for climate goals, is "flying under the radar" for many farmers. https://t.co/Qfw2LpzPFX
