If I were concerned about my law enforcement agents being accosted, I would simply not have them dress and conduct themselves like members of a Mexican drug cartel.
Our brave ICE law enforcement officers are now facing a nearly 700% increase in assaults against them. Secretary Noem has been clear: if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. @TriciaOhio

HUGE W TODAY! As Nolan says, this is probably the most impactful housing bill California has passed since the YIMBY movement began. Much more is still needed to reach abundance; let's get to work! 💪.
The impossible has become possible: we've passed a clean CEQA infill exemption. This is probably the most important thing California has done on housing in the present YIMBY moment.

Progressives have a unique ability to frame a good, technocratic reform in the most divisive way possible.
Zohran’s framing is completely insane. This shouldn’t be about “white neighborhoods” paying more. But this is one of his policies that actually makes sense!. NYC’s property tax system is broken because of a 1981 law that capped assessed value increases on 1–3 family homes to 20%.

Just in: Senator Scott Wiener filed paperwork to run for Nancy Pelosi’s seat in Congress in 2028. If she decides to retire, Wiener could transfer his campaign warchest into a new committee to run in 2026. 📝: @Josh_Koehn
