This makes no sense from a cricket lovers viewpoint. Can only imagine cash strapped Cricket Ireland, will jump at this opportunity, at least until Abbotstown is built
The next cycle of the World Test championship is set to feature one-match “series” However England have agreed to return to 5-match Test series with South Africa from 2032, when they will also host Australia for a celebration of 150 years of the Ashes

A test match over in less than 210 overs, 2 top teams and all 40 wickets taken, if this was County Championship match the pitch inspectors would be all over them There are penalties for slow over rates, are there any sanctions for substandard pitches?

2/2 Keep the Big 3 home series against the other 2 4 yearly, but allow more competitive tests between those series, And give one of the 2nd division 5 teams a chance to improve and develop and hold their own in Division 1
