Displaced Buffalonian, trying to leave this place better than I found it. Lawyer(ish).
Dallas, TX
Joined June 2011
My first tweet/post in 2+ years is to say that I think I’m packing it in with this organization. I never thought I’d break but I think it’s happen, I think they’ve irrevocably broken me. I was in law school the last time this team made the playoffs for God’s sake. Au revoir.

Last day coming to this office, ever, and likely Midland as a whole. A punctuation mark on what began in February 2014 as a Hail Mary shot in the dark in West Texas trying to cobble together an income and a career. Joined EnCore in late 2016 and what a ride. Bittersweet ending.

Just watching something great built over the course of more than half a decade get blown up to smithereens in slow motion, and it’s sad. So much that was accomplished and it has to end like that. Brutal.

This was a great watch.

What a game. That could’ve been a Super Bowl in its own right. @BuffaloBills

Shopping for hockey goalie equipment in 2021/22 when it’s been more than a decade since your last attempt, that’ll take you to some dark places. Where are the straps? Why all the Velcro? Why can’t I tighten these more? Just cost cutting in the guise of “improving performance.”

New Years 2024 “President Jake Paul has lifted the quarantine. Spirits are high. The NFT of Biden’s podium stroke has just sold for 2 million dollars. Chic Fil A is accepting safemoon. Elon Musk is launching a new mission to Mars despite not knowing where the last crew is.”

It should be said, @TimJDillon is 1,000% right about Austin. I don’t know what place is “it” but “it” ain’t here. It’s tolerable but isn’t nearly the geographical panacea some make it out to be.

It’s 2030. You need a jar of pickles from the local delicatessen, but ingress requires your vaccination booklet. A pimple-faced teen making $200/hr - the minimum wage due to insane money printing - reviews all 19 pages to confirm you are “fully vaccinated” with your 39 boosters.

“You’re trying to tell me the cheapest ticket to tonight’s game is $54 and you’d rather leave 13,000 seats unoccupied instead of selling them at a small discount?”
