Cancer is one of the loneliest places I've ever had to visit. Call your friend with #cancer or #breastcancer today. Take 5 minutes out of your day to just ask how they're doing. How their docs are going and how their family is doing.

This! #breastcancer care the right way!.
In the 3.5 years since my advanced breast cancer diagnosis I’ve only been examined once by a male, the initial oncologist I met with. There was a female nurse present. Even with my quarterly heart MRI it is a female radiologist that places and removes the pads as my breasts are.

Indeed, #FuckCancer!.
It’s funny how terms around cancer are so challenging. When am I a “survivor”? I’m in remission but I am still a cancer patient as I’m taking immunotherapy meds. And rates of reoccurrence are really high for stage 3 ovarian cancer. So what am I?#fuckcancer

It’s Zoladex day. My cancer was fuelled by oestrogen, this implant shuts down my ovaries & dramatically reduces oestrogen production. I used to have a fear of needles, now I don’t flinch when this huge one is used. Zoladex is one of the medications behind my constant, bone pain.

I’ve had a lot of GI issues on this trial. Tx was postponed last week bc my potassium was dangerously low. Since then I’ve been taking supplements & trying to manage my symptoms. Pls send good thoughts for tomorrow. That my potassium is good & they are able to give me tx. 🙏🏼😘.
