Rode along with @JalenHurts on Tuesday. Watched him teach young men the importance of journaling, comfort a grieving HS football team and donate coats to the rec center @dawnstaley operates her foundation from. "Special day," the #Eagles QB told me. https://t.co/JpHhdBE6XN

Former Post sports journalist gets the picture that breaks the camel’s back. Long live the Post, may the comeback start immediately.
Will Lewis was too busy to join the call to tell his staff he’s destroying the @washingtonpost sports department yesterday … but he did have time to walk the red carpet at NFL Honors here in San Francisco today. Amazing.

While Jake Paul technically lives in the United States, he exploits colonial mentality by taking advantage of the tax breaks in Puerto Rico and preys upon a weaker economy ... while not living in what many consider "the United States" like "true Americans"
Wow pls shut the fuck up From all true Americans If you don’t want to represent this country go live somewhere else

I was once a 23-year-old who got laid off bc Darren wanted to stop doing journalism & team up w/ his buddy. (I also didn't like the job very much.) It worked out for me, and I hope the same for those in a similar position -- albeit under much more sinister circumstances -- today
The Washington Post isn't cutting the sports section today because Jeffrey Bezos is a ghoul or hates journalism. It's because journalism that doesn't meet the public where they are and where they want to be can't make money. My take on the reality of the future of journalism

Truly horrifying day in our business. So many at the Post are friends, quasi-colleagues and competitors. Saw their greatness firsthand while living in DC. Any loss is stupid and unnecessary. Also, this is exactly how the Post already covers sports.
Murray says the Post will be closing the sports department “in its current form.” The paper plans to retain several reporters to join features and cover sports as a “cultural and societal phenomenon,” and will have a few employees on its print sports section.

Jimmy Johnson leaving his message over a random FG highlight is why this website will always have a little bit of magic left no matter how horrible it gets
I would bet that if the HOF votes were public very few of the assholes that did not vote for Bill Belichick would come forward..already some are lying about their vote

The Patriots are back in the Super Bowl. How a team that went 4-13 in back-to-back seasons, with a second-year QB and a conglomeration of key vets/rookies, made it to Santa Clara. Starts with the guy at the top. https://t.co/5HKvRq4eWS

The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl after a six-year hiatus. One key reason why they got there? Head coach Mike Vrabel.

The Pats ultimately got the points so it doesn't REALLY matter, but ... the refs literally let everything -- everything -- go on plays like that and then can come back to incomplete. Immediately ruling INC with grounding (also wrong) is another sign of how broken NFL reffing is

Been hearing former Fordham and Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson's name as someone who could have a role on John Harbaugh's staff with the Giants, per sources. Perhaps in a senior offensive assistant role.

Does Bari know how much Tony Romo is making at her own shop? Maybe they don’t share salary info across the departments
CBS News chief Bari Weiss believes Gayle King’s $15 million salary is no longer viable in a weaker media economy, per sources. King is reportedly weighing her next move within the network: a special correspondent role or a one-year “farewell” deal at a lower salary. There are
